It’s been uncomfortably warm lately mostly thanks to acres upon acres of charred earth from several fires across the southland. Our prayers go out to those who lost their homes. In their honor, we will sit on our laurels, but rather do what we are meant to do, and bring you the information you came to see.

Designer Rugs – A company based out of Australia, Design Rugs have some of the most unique floor coverings we’ve ever seen. I’m privy to the “Sketchbook” series. (link via the Sponge)

Byroglyphics – Found this artist through Stumble Upon; a great figurative street style. Prints are available.

Apartment Style – Michele is doing a home office color consultation for a long distance client. She’s using a bold style and including decorative clock from Apt-NY.com. Some really cool stuff on this site. Check it out.

BlinkRed – Another Michele find, for those that love art but can’t afford the major price tag of originals, Blink Red Gallery offers some unique prints from contemporary artists for reasonable prices.

The Art Of Placement – Want to know more about Feng Shui? The Art of Placement offers 5 things you must know before you start rearranging your furniture.

Pick A Color – The Domestic Goddess has an interesting post that offers a unique color scheme picking tool. This may put us out of business, but it’s pretty cool.

Hardwood Knowhow – Awhile back Michele talked a bit about hardwood floors. I found this post on Planakitchen.com that goes into more depth on the subject. Good info.

Hot Rocks – On a personal note, Michele’s nephew and his band “And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead” is doing a free university tour. We’ll be at the UCLA shows. If you’re around, check them out.

Flickr Flora – Almost forgot this one, but here’s a group of cool flower photos by Flickr user, Marco V.A.

OK, those should keep you busy for awhile. We’ll be back with more cool stuff on Monday. Have a great weekend.

Glad you liked the colour-picker! Nothing could put you guys out of business (fortunately) but I do find a lot of fun in the cool little tool!
