Color Themes

Thanks to an insane work schedule this week, I almost forgot about these. There’s a couple posts outside the design box a bit, but I hope you enjoy them.

Self Made Chick – I’m always finding new blogs to plunder for goodies and Self Made Chick is a great find. This post about achieving Ridiculous Goals may be more about business, but I challenge anyone to apply it to projects at home.

Font Geek – Helvetica the movie was recently released on DVD. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend the film to just about everyone. Not into fonts that much? Carl at Coroflot would disagree.

David Mascha – This Austrian born illustrator and designer has a really unique abstract style. This has color inspiration all over it.

Storage Wars – There’s little argument that Mimobot creates the coolest USB drives around and this second Star Wars series is further proof. I’ve got to get my hands on a Han Solo to match my Chewbacca.

Unspoken Support – I normally don’t support unions because I think many are too powerful and command too much compliance at the sake of the consumers. However, I stand up for those who deal in intellectual property. So do all these folks.

So Vane – How cool is this vanity? I don’t know of a dark, dank castle in which to place it, but it’s awesome anyway.

Jigger – While in school, I did my time as a bartender for various restaurants and clubs, so I dig cool tools like this.

Holiday Menus – The hectic holidaze are right around the corner, and you best be prepared for all those parties and family visits. Domino will set you straight.

Ok, my lovely wife is begging to go out and eat, so I’m going to leave you with that list to chew on. Have a great weekend and we’ll see you Monday.
