I mistakenly forgot the today is Blog Action Day. Had I remembered it was upon us, I would have saved our post about young Samia, the 7 year old girl from Afghanistan. Or I could say we were just early.
I would like to contribute in a big way to the refugees and I’ve started by a small amount automatic debit to this site: https://secure.usaforunhcr.org/
If you can only afford $25.00 or $1.00, I’m sure they will be very grateful. Imagine if everyone gave just one dollar. I know there are many charities to respond to is the biggest way to find abundance in your own life. For me, giving is always better than getting.
I’d like to find a publisher who would like to contribute in the printing of some limited edition prints. I want to create a few pieces of art and also I’m looking for artist that may want to send their emotions on this particular subject. Possibly, we can all donate a piece of art to be duplicated and raise some funds for a universal cause. If you would know of a printer, a paper company, I’m sure we can find lots of art to donate. I have two pieces that would emulate the emotions of these terrors. So, I’m putting it out there should anyone be interested in my quest. Thanks, everyone!
