Every day I feel I won’t be able to come up with something write about, I always seem to stumble onto something. Recently I ran across artist Lynne Taetzsc when she sent me a CD of her work and I was astonished at the number of paintings she has completed; literally hundreds of pieces arranged in alphabetized folders, each with a dozen or more images.

Most are abstract water colors, a bit easier in terms of time to produce than oils or acrylics but amazing and beautiful none the less.

Since the start of my vacation this week in Hawaii, I’ve created about 5 water color pieces in a couple of days and two of them I’m really proud of. The others I completed were trials and I wouldn’t consider ever showing them to anyone, but they were fun.

What I like most about Lynne’s work are the vibrant colors. I feel she has a great handle on putting the right colors together, which I can relate to in my business. She creates shapes and squiggles much like doodling but they all work. There isn’t a piece in her collection that I would have thrown out. They all have such a nice placement of the colors and they are all completely different in nature to each brush stroke. More power to you Lynne! I hope to one day be as prolific as you!
