Luxury linens are the ultimate for one’s self esteem. Why? The richness of a high thread count and the quality of natural fibers rather than synthetics put you in another world. Ask anyone who has ever slept on 100% Egyptian linen sheet, they would agree. I recently found a great inexpensive source at Anippe.com. They have everything from sheets to robes. They aren’t much on style when it comes to bedding, but their ideal for the those of us that like quality but can’t always afford the high-end cost. For those with alergy problems, you might want to take a look at Walata Luxury Bedding.

Brown and Blue seem to be the “in” color everywhere in bedding these days. Liz Claiborne is doing it. Pottery Barn has an entire catalog dedicated to it. To add to the brown tones you can add something furry and fun. Try an animal print for pizzazz or fur (faux fur for the politically correct) for something more fluffy and cuddly. I recently created some great throw pillows for a client with Stroheim’s faux leopard, the most realistic I’ve seen. It adds just a touch of masculinity to a very soft palette.

After we get out of those lovely sheets, and stumble to the bathroom to shower or take a soothing bath, why not dry off with Linenkist, one of the thickest, most luxurious towels you will find on the market.Weighing a hefty 700 grams, this towel was independently tested and proved to be superior in absorption, durability, and colorfastness when tested against other luxury towels.

Linenkist also has some great accessories for the sink to match the decor. If you hate blue, pink and brown are also the hottest in trendy colors. Whatever you choose, as far as the palette of colors and linens, try to carry the cozy theme all throughout your haven and you’ll get that hotel quality feel from your linens. What a great way to start and end your day.
